State incites violence, Sikhs stay
peaceful
"It
is a 90s like situation and will be dealt like 90s" Parkash Singh Badal.
Cat came out of the bag . This statement shows the Badal's intentions to deal
with challenge to his corrupt practices in Sikh institutions. From last 2
months , Sikhs are staying absolute peaceful in spite of all painful
provocations . First Badal provoked through Maffinama , Sikhs stayed peaceful
in protests as a democratic way of protests , then Badal provoked Sikhs by not
acting on Bargari sacrilege of SGGS ji culprits, Sikhs stuck to peace, then
Badal incited by firing on peaceful Sikhs , Sikhs stayed peaceful. When Sikhs
demanded the arrests of culprits of Bargari incident and arrest of those police
officers who fired on peaceful Sikhs , Badal arrested two innocent brothers in
fake charges, Sikhs stayed peaceful against the aggression , then Sikhs
demanded removal of Jathedars who lost credibility in Sikh Panth , demand was
ignored to irritate Sikhs more, then most peaceful gathering of hundreds of
thousands of Sikhs in Sarbat Khalsa took a call to replace Jathedars and
pledged not to engage in confrontation with present Jathedars till they leave
the offices on their own , not even any controversial slogans were raised from
stage, totally peaceful huge huge gathering. But did not stop Badal to provoke
Sikhs again and arrested the organizers of Sarbat Khalsa at mid night from
their homes by breaking their doors and windows. Awful treatment towards Sikhs
when they are just exercising their democratic rights through peaceful means.
Govt is inciting Sikhs to resort to violence so that govt can suppress voices
of challenging the corrupt practices as law and order situation and blame Sikhs
for threat to peace. That is the way govt defamed Sikhs in 80s and 90s and had
suppressed their legitimate struggle of their rights through genocide of Sikhs
. Govt is on the same path again but we have to win this time by not getting
provoked in spite of incitements and we are going to expose govt on law and
order situation this time as a culprit.
