Where are the Sikh boys my dear?

And yet another Sikh Girl! ...
Where are the Sikh boys my dear?
Chandigarh, June 4
A widely believed misconception that preparation for competitive examinations requires giving up all is proved wrong if one takes a look at the study schedule of toppers in the Common Entrance Test (Medical)-2011 conducted by Panjab University. The Chandigarh Tribune talked to the two top rank holders and their parents to elicit their views.
Tejeswar Jain (1st rank in CET-medical 2011)
A student of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Public School, Sector 26, Tejeswar, a resident of Ambala, is a fervent cricket fan and also played table tennis to destress himself while preparing for MBBS entrance exams including CET. Incidentally, all four generations in his family have been doctors. He has been studying in Chandigarh for the past two years and his mother, who is also a doctor, shifted to the city to take care of him.
“We never felt the need to insist or motivate him to study for the entrance exams. When he was in class 11 he was in a dilemma over whether to opt for nonmedical or medical courses since he has an exceptional command over mathematics. But eventually he decided to take biology instead,” said Poonam Jain, Tejeswar’s mother.
Laying emphasis on the role of tuitions to prepare for competition examinations, his father, Anil Jain, said: “It was due to the professional approach of his tutors that he was he able to score well.”
Harsimran KAUR Bhatia (2nd rank in CET-medical 2011)A rigorous study schedule of seven to eight hours in class 12 stood Harsimran in good stead. Daughter of a doctor couple, Harinder and AS Bhatia, she was displeased by her CBSE PMT rank and had expected to do well in CET. “Despite the shock I got over my CBSE PMT rank I was determined to do better. My mother was the biggest inspiration for me and she took up the challenge of managing work, home and motivating me constantly,” said Harsimran.
On a positive note, she added: “I knew getting a top rank in an entrance exam was not an impossible task. The level of coaching being given in Chandigarh is extremely good and I had all facilities that helped me do well.” An alumnus of St Anne’s Convent School, Sector 32, she scored 97.8 per cent in class 10, being the second rank holder in the tricity. However, instead of restricting herself to academics, she participated in a number of extracurricular activities and has also participated in interschool oratorical contests.
Motivation crucial, say parents
Nirupama Bassi, mother of Mehak Bassi, the 4th rank holder in CET (medical), said the most crucial aspect of competitive examinations was motivating children. “My daughter was a good basketball player up till class 10 but thereafter she gave up sports to put in more study hours to crack competitive exams. Students who prepare for such tests get extremely depressed at times. Her hard work paid off, but it’s very important for parents to constantly motivate their kids,” said Nirupama.
Over 8,000 exam candidates this year
About 8,080 students appeared in the Common Entrance Test (Medical)-2011 held by Panjab University this year. The test is conducted every year for admission to medical colleges like Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32 and BSc (honours), BSc (tourism management), BSc (hospitality & hotel management), BA, five-year integrated LLB (honours) course and BCom courses.
EVERY SIKH SHOULD TAKE INSPIRATION FROM HARSIMAR KAUR - WORK HARD TO GET RESPECT FOR THEIR PARENTS, THE COMMUNITY AND THEMSELVES.
Wonder why the KAUR is dropped by reporters? We should explain to them the meaning of Kaur.

THE SIKHS and the Brahmins-Hindus:

THE SIKHS and the Brahmins-Hindus:
The 27th Anniversary of An 'Undeclared' brutal war
in the Form of "Operation Bluestar"
of June, 1984, On the "Landless Sikh Nation, PUNJAB
(under the occupation of the Brahmins-Hindus' democracy/demoncracy/autocracy)"
Dr Awatar Singh Sekhon (Machaki)*
I am writing this 'unusual' message to invite your kind attention, as the subject is quite pertinent at least in my views. The 27th Anniversary of an 'undeclared' war in the form of a brutal military"Operation Bluestar" of June 1984 is approaching near. In fact, there are only 2 days left, i. e., 4-6th June. What I have to pointout is there were only 169 people inside the Darbar Sahib Complex, Amritsar, when the elite armed forces  (army, navy and air force), with the USSR (Russian) intelligence advisors, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and other armed personnel waged a war on the 'Landless Sikh Nation, Sikh Raj, Khalistan, Punjab (under the Brahmins-Hindus' occupation. since 15th August, 1947). This had been done to take care of the Sikhs and their 'Landless Sikh Nation'. From the intentions that the elite forces of the'Brahmins-Hindus' autocracy/demoncracy/democracy will 'exterminate' the Sikhs,  defeat the brave Sikhs of the 'Landless Sikh Nation, PUNJAB. Punjab, which had been  'swallowed' by the 'unelected' leadership of the Hindus-Brahmins' India, came into being in the early hours of 15th August, 1947. In the War Room in New Delhi were sitting 3-Brahmins (P Chidambaram, Arun Nehru and P Rao), who directing the war operations on the Sikh Nation from New Delhi. The Punjab or 'Landless Sikh Nation' which had been cutoff from the rest of the world by suspending all means of communications and transportation and was under the imposition curfew round the clock. In fact, the Article 14 of the Indian Constitution, which provides safety of citizens, was deliberately 'suspended' or rendered ineffectiveWhether the then President, Zail Sinh, a stooge of Indira Gandhi alias Maimuna Begum, had any knowledge of the suspension of Article 14 of the Indian Constitution, it is anybody's guess and a million dollar question.
Brahmins-Hindus' military might had assured Indira Gandhi that we will take care of the Sikhs (wipe them out in the pre-planned and well reharsed genocide of Sikhs and shut the mouths of Sikhs for ever, within in 2.5 to 3-hour).
In the Darbar Sahib Complex, there present were Saint-solier Jarnail Singh Khalsa (Bhindranwale), Bhai Amrik Singh, Bhai (former Major-General Shahbeg Singh, Baba Thara Singh, Babbar leader Sukhdev Singh, with his 12 more associates, and 152 staunch supporters of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
Altogether 169 Sikhs fought shoulder to shoulder against the Brahmins-Hindus' elite armed forces fiercely. Among these 169 Sikhs, one female was supposedly Maj-Gen Shahbeg Singh's daughter, who fought with her father. She was on one corner of the Guru Nanak Niwas' roof (Langar Hall) alone and did not let even a single paratrooper alive. They all fell in the 'Sarover' or (pond) the place where pilgrims take their bath before paying their respect in the Darbar Sahib Complex, to their Guru, Guru Granth Sahib -the Sikhs' Holy Scripture.
These 169 Sikhs had fought against more than 3-Division of armed forces. They killed more than 30,000 well-trained, professional personnel (armoured corps, infantry, artillery, engineer (AME), navy and air force personnel. Military personnel could not enter the Darbar Sahib Complex, along with the Supreme Seat of Sikh Polity, The Akal Takht Sahib. Now, you may very well imagine, my dear older and younger brothers, Sikh youth and Barkhurdars to make a vague guess as to what kind of the 'elite armed forces of the Brahmins-Hindus' had/have been. Let us not forget that more than 6 Lt-Gen who have been directing, along with the Brahmins-Hinduswere the Sikhs, with their Sikh commissioned, junior commissioned, non-commissioned, frogmen of the navy and gunboat operatinghelicopters and IAF transport planes.
It was acknowledged by Lt Gen K Brar (a clean-shaven Sikh), we did not had that many casualities in 3 wars against Pakistan as the armed forces were inflicted by 169 brave and committed Sikhs, to protect the honour of their dearest religious and the institution of the Sikhs' polity, The Akal Takht Sahib. Had we had such courageous soldiers like these 169 committed Sikhs , the end result of the 'undeclared' war would have been far different (It must be noted that Lt-Gen K Brar used 'F***' word in his briefing to the news media).
My dear older, younger brothers and the Barkhurdars, the Sikhs and Punjabi Musalmaans are virtually the same characters, except their religions (the Sikh religion founded by Guru Baba Nanak Sahib and the Islam by prophet Mohammad Sahib). So what? It is all the will power and spirits of the men who drink the water of 5-Rivers. Both the Sikhs and Punjabi Musalmaan brothers have the same spirits and courage. The spirits of the Sikhs and Musalmaans (now in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan) have been challenged by the 'Brahmins-Hindus' since 15th August, 1947; by the divisive, devious, and apartheid practicing creatures. The creatures who were 'subservient' to the Afghans, Mughals, Sikhs, British, Portuguese, etc., for more than 3,500 years and up until the early morning hours of the fateful day of 15th August, 1947.
The time when the article is being prepared, both the Sikhs of the 'Landless Sikh Nation, PUNJAB (under India's Brahmins-Hindus' occupation) and Musalmaans of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have been 'victims' of the "Terrorism of the Brahmins and Hindus" of the alleged Indian democracy, as the writer views it. Both the Sikh and Musalmaan victims have no choice but to face the unforeseen together and jointly. Let me tell the world that the Sikhs have no future 'without' their "Sovereignty, Independence and Political power."
Let the peace be upon us (the Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, and other non-Brahmins-Hindus minorities).

Blue Star Operation planned by Mrs. Indira Gandhi

Blue Star Operation
planned by Mrs. Indira Gandhi

Sikhs all around the world very sadly will be remembering and paying homage to thousands of innocent lives lost in 1984 Blue Star Operation conducted by Mrs. Indira Gandh's Govt.  Mrs. Gandhi, Indian Govt. and Indian Media has always tried to tell the World that Mrs. Gandhi and her Govt. made every effort to negotiate and prevent Blue Star Operation till the last moment. Unfortunately many people believe Indian Govt.'s propaganda and blame terrorists for forcing the Indian army to attack the Holy Golden Temple causing lots of destruction and killing thousands of innocent men, women and children. My question to all those people and media, who believe Indian Govt.'s propaganda that Mrs. Gandhi didn't want army to attack the Golden Temple and made every effort to prevent Blue Star Operation, " is then why did Mrs. Gandhi ordered army to start training and preparing to attack the Golden Temple 16 months before June 1984 ?"
For those people who don't know all the facts, according to Indian army's Lt. Gen. Sinha the army had started training to attack the Golden Temple 16 months before the actual attack in June 1984. For all those people who know about Punjab situtation in 1982-83, the things were not perfect but at the same time they were not that bad that Mrs. Gandhi had to order army to start training and preparing to attack the Golden Temple. The fact is that Mrs Gandhi was very upset with Sikh community for opposing her Emergency rule and wanted to punish them for forcing her to remove the Emergency and loosing the next elections. Even according to former Canadian High Commissioner to India in 1984 Mr. William Warden who testified before Justice Major at Air India inquiry that in 1975 Indira Gandhi imposed a state of emergency in India and the Sikh Akali party of Punjab launched one of the largest and most effective demonstrations against what she was doing. Finally the emergency was lifted in 1977 and she lost the next elections. When Indira Gandhi was re-elected as PM in 1980, she was particularly angry about the Sikh protests against her dictatorial rule during the two years of emergency rule and was determined to teach Sikhs a lesson. In Mr. Warden's words it was a 'pay back time'. So Mrs. Gandhi was determined to teach Sikhs a lesson and also knew that such an action will make her very popular in Hindu majority and help her to win the next elections very easily. So Mrs. Gandhi started planning this Blue Star Operation in early 1982 with her close set of advisors. In early 1982 Akali party had started very peaceful Dharmyudh Morcha starting from the Golden Temple. That is when Mrs. Gandhi started having close meetings with her advisors. Though I wasn't present the meetings but I assume that some of the discussions were in the following way. ( not just one meeting but various meetings )
Mrs. Gandhi -- Oh these Akali party leaders start all their movements from the Golden Temple. I am very angry against these Akali leaders for fisrt opposing my Emergency rule powers and now starting this Dharamyudh Morcha from the Golden Temple. I think we should attack and destroy the Golden Temple and then the Akali party won't be able to start such strong movements from there.
Advisor -- Oh, no Madam we can't do that. Golden Temple is a religious place of worship. And any damage done to this religious place will be considered very bad all over. How will we explain and justify the attack on religious place to the rest of the world ? All the world leaders and media will turn against us.
Mrs. Gandhi -- No we won't attack it right away. There are some elements in Punjab who are talking about usiing force and violance to force us to accept their demands. Maybe we can encourage these violent elements to get stronger and provide them more weapons. We can even send our own secret Black Cat elements to merge with them and commit violent crimes and innocent killings of Hindu people. That will create bad feelings and violance between general Hindus and Sikhs. And slowly that will turn the general public against those Sikhs and the general public will start asking us to use force against those violent elements. And we'll tell the rest of India that we have to attack Golden Temple to protect Hindu lives from the Sikh terrorists. That will make large Hindu majority voters vote for us in the next elections. Large number of Hindus will start calling me Durga or Chandi Devi ( Godess )
Advisor-- But Madam the Sikh community living in western countries will raise voice against us for attackinng a Sikh religious place and discrimination. The western media and political leaders will start listening to the issues raised by Sikhs living in those countries and will start speaking up against India in UNO.
Mrs. Gandhi -- Don't worry. We can send our Black Cat agents to western countries to act and do stupid things as Sikh terrorists. That will turn the western leaders and media against the Sikhs cause. And the western leaders and media will start accepting and supporting whatever we'll do against the Sikh community here. Another thing we'll do is that we'll nominate my big follower and Yes-man Zail Singh as Presidential candidate and get him elected as President of India. Then we'll tell the rest of the world that Sikh President who is also commander-in-chief of the army had ordered the army to attack the Golden Temple. Furthermore we'll use Sikh Generals to lead the army attack. Then we can tell the rest of world that Sikh President and Sikh Army Generals are attacking the Golden Temple and fighting against Sikh terrorists. We'll tell the world that good Sikhs are fighting against the bad Sikhs. And we are just the bystanders trying to create peaceful conditions in Punjab.
All these discussions and comments are very imaginary and not real, but they are very close to the real things that happened later on. Things were not that bad and violent in Punjab in 82-83 that Mrs. Gandhi had to order army to start training to attack the Golden Temple. And later on Mrs. Gandhi tried to have meetings with Akali leaders to solve the problems and create peaceful situation in Punjab. But the fact is that she had no real intentions to solve the problems. She knew that army was training and things were getting worse and she knew that the attack on Golden Temple will be justfiable and acceptable according to the conditions that were being created in Punjab.
Anybody who says all this is imaginary and Mrs. Gandhi had no such intentions. Can that person explain why army started training 16 months before the actual attack in 1984 ? Have you ever heard of army in any other country train to attack a religious place just for training purposes ? Another point is that if Mrs. Gandhi had no intention to kill innocent Sikhs and teach them a lesson then why no effort was made to get thousands of innocent worshippers out of the Golden Temple to save their lives before the army attack. According to Maj. Gen. Jamwal who was involved in the Blue Star Operation many officers felt that innocent worshippers should be given a chance to come out before the attack. They even suggested to cut power, food and water supplies to force terrorists to give up and come out without army attack. But unfortunately all these suggestions were rejected by Mrs. Gandhi's Govt. because she didn't care about innocent lives lost or destruction caused to the Golden Temple. She just wanted to show her force and teach Sikh community a lesson. According to Maj. Gen. Jamwal he refused to follow orders to kill and shoot arrested persons with their hands tied behind their backs, but unfortunately there were some other officers who followed these orders killed hundreds of arrested persons with their hands tied behind their backs. This is a violation of International laws to kill arrested persons in such situations. But all this happened there because it was all approved and ordered by Mrs. Gandhi's Govt.
Wheras we are remembering and paying homage to thousands of innocent lives lost in 1984. There we should try and hope that International Human Rights Organisations, Justice Organisations and United Nations etc. should look at all these facts and declare judgement against the guilty Indian Govt. led by Mrs Indira Gandhi.
