Historian scholars have described it as a Pogrom, ethnic cleansing, state terrorism, and meeting the "legal definition of genocide".

The pogrom was extensively televised by India's innumerable – and then much less complacent – TV channels.

Many middle-class Indians were shocked to hear how even the very young had not been spared – the slayers of Muslims were seen smashing the heads of children against rocks. There was some unease even within Modi's parent outfit, the RSS – whose most revered chief, Guru Golwalkar, wrote in a 1939 book that Nazi Germany had manifested "race pride at its highest" by purging itself of the "Semitic races".

Leaders Are Taped Boasting About Roles in Violence

Tehelka, a weekly magazine, secretly videotapes senior police officers and politicians boasting about their roles in the 2002 killings -- how they burned Muslim men, raped their wives and destroyed their homes.

The investigation renews focus on what role Modi might have played.

A B.J.P. politician says Modi had told him they had three days "to do whatever we could," according to a transcript the magazine published the following month.

Modi dismisses the claims as politically motivated.

The Gujrat Riots (Massacre)

Historian scholars have described it as a Pogrom, ethnic cleansing, state terrorism, and meeting the "legal definition of genocide".

What happened was that Hindu groups set a train on fire inbound from Pakistan killing everyone then blamed it on Muslims in Pakistan. This false flag was used as a pretext to start riots which were a disguise to carry out their preplanned attack on the Muslim minority living in the state of Gujrat, India. The minister (Modi), police, media, and the hindu residents were all in on it.

The Muslim males (men and children) were killed brutally, their houses destroyed and burned, while their women and girls raped. This continued for three days. Afterwards a kangaroo court trial was run against those involved and they were released with out a single charge.

The Gujarat massacre: New India's blood rite
Ten years on, we need to consider the links between the anti-Muslim pogrom of 2002 and economic globalisation

In February 2002 the western Indian state of Gujarat, governed by the Hindu nationalist chief minister Narendra Modi, witnessed one of the country's biggest pogroms. Responding to reports that Muslims had set fire to a train carriage, killing 58 Hindu pilgrims inside, mobs rampaged across the state. The riots flared up again on 15 March – 10 years ago on Wednesday – and killing, raping and looting continued until mid-June. More than 2,000 Muslims were murdered, and tens of thousands rendered homeless in carefully planned and coordinated attacks of unprecedented savagery.

The killers may have been in touch with police and politicians. According to the 2011 Amicus report, two cabinet ministers even sat in police control rooms. A senior police officer and minister, murdered in 2003, claimed that Modi explicitly instructed civil servants and police not to stand in the killers' way. Of course, Modi has always denied involvement and condemned the riots.

Since then Indian activists have doggedly pursued Modi through the courts and in the media. In a sting carried out in 2007 by the weekly magazine Tehelka, politicians, businessmen, officials and policemen were caught on tape, delightedly recalling how they murdered and raped Muslims with the full imprimatur of their superiors.

No matter: Modi walks out of hostile interviews and ignores rulings from the country's courts: last month his government was issued a contempt notice for failing to compensate 56 people whose shops were destroyed in the riots. He can describe the relief camps that house thousands of dispossessed Muslims as "child-breeding centres". The impunity derives from the fact that Modi, though still denied a visa to the US, remains the unchallenged leader of a big-business-friendly state which his American PR firm, Apco – that also represents brutal dictators such as Kazakhstan's Nursultan Nazarbayev – has successfully rebranded as "Vibrant Gujarat".

Hailed by India's leading industrialists, including Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani, as "dynamic" and "visionary", and buoyed by landslide victories in state elections, Modi now projects himself as the face of a democratic, economically vigorous and pro-west New India. He has been able to persuade many of his Gujarati compatriots of a liberal-leftist conspiracy against their plucky, entrepreneurial selves. And there are many in the Indian media – bigger, more affluent and more gung-ho since 2002 – ready to complement Apco's exertions by making the 2002 pogrom seem part of a happily superseded history.

One recent commentator even tried to dismiss it as an anachronism from India's apparently dark pre-1991 "socialist" past, claiming that it "represented an autarkic economy riot in the era of globalisation". Apparently, the beneficiaries of Brave New India, educated by an alert media and motivated by economic gain, have a "declining tolerance for violence" – and even someone as fanatical as Modi realises that news of wholesale murder of Muslims, quickly disseminated in the age of globalisation, is bad for business.

A recent profile of Modi in Caravan, India's best English-language magazine, eviscerates this self-flattering image of a democratic and enlightened entrepreneurial class – one that has no time for the Muslim-scalping that people in benightedly socialist India used to get up to. Wholly untouched by remorse, Modi comes across in a carefully researched article by the journalist Vinod Jose as a classic authoritarian populist, bending others to his will rather than bowing to progressive opinion. Jose describes how Modi demanded an abject apology from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) (CII), India's most prestigious and important business association, which had criticised the Gujarat chief minister over the killings in his state. Faced with a revolt from businessmen from wealthy Gujarat, the CII buckled; it was soon helping to arrange Modi's first meeting with foreign investors. It was only a matter of time before Tata struck up a beautiful relationship with Modi.

In any case, the non-recurrence of 2002-style killings in India provides little reason to credit its elites with heightened tolerance and compassion. Left behind by economic growth, Muslims are more demoralised and depressed than ever; and the country's extreme inequalities, often enforced with violence, express themselves in new forms, ranging from suicides by tens of thousands of farmers, to militant insurgencies. Old-style rioting has been replaced by state terrorism, often cheer-led by the elites. (In 2007 India ranked just behind Iraq in annual incidents of "terrorist" violence.) Under Modi's rule, Gujarat has seen a steep rise in extrajudicial killings.

Economic globalisation, far from spurring moral and spiritual growth among its beneficiaries, has helped to create new constituencies – among haves as well as have-nots – for xenophobia and Modi-style authoritarian populism. Riot Politics, an excellent new book based on close ethnographic study of riot-affected areas in Gujarat by the Dutch scholar Ward Berenschot, shows how it was the state's integration into the global economy, and resulting extreme inequalities, that made poor areas of the state so exposed to anti-Muslim violence. Indeed, the 2002 killings may have been an early example of what the social anthropologist Arjun Appadurai calls "a vast worldwide Malthusian correction, which works through the idioms of minoritisation and ethnicisation but is functionally geared to preparing the world for the winners of globalisation, minus the inconvenient noise of its losers".

Like Modi, the strongmen who supervise these bloody purges of economically depressed and unproductive people are often elected by landslide majorities, and tend to be audacious free-marketeers rather than hopeless socialists. The start of the crony-capitalist regimes of Thaksin in Thailand and Putin in Chechnya coincided with vicious assaults on ethnic minorities. Ten years later, the 2002 anti-Muslim pogrom too seems to have been a necessary blood rite – anointing not just Vibrant Gujarat but also the New India.

A SHORT AND A VERY REVOLUTIONARY LAST LETTER OF AFZAL GURU

A SHORT AND A VERY REVOLUTIONARY LAST LETTER OF AFZAL GURU FOR REVOLUTIONARIES FROM TIHAR JAIL BEFORE HIS DEATH ON 09-02-2013 IN THE EARLY MORNING.

The writer, Balbir Singh Sooch within the limitation of his mental power feel privileged to interpret of his own Initiative the rough translation from Urdu to English of the last letter of Afzal Guru from Tihar Jail, said to be written in Urdu by Afzal Guru on 09/2/2013 at 6:25 am (IST) as alleged.

“6:25 am
9/2/2013
Respected family and all the believers ((Believers in Almighty God, accept that something (here something means Almighty God for Afzal Guru) is true or real), but, word, believers could also meant for addressing those, who neither believe in Almighty God nor did believe to Afzal Guru and likewise believers’ definition and detail in the context can be endless)).

Asalam u alikum (peace up on you) ((wished peace and happiness for all, provided when they are awake!))

((But, it seems, Afzal Guru is respectfully addressing to all in his last letter before his death, though he was firm believer in Almighty God and wishes peace and happiness for all, provided when they are awake by the grace of God! ))

I thank Almighty that he has chosen me for this stature ((height, prominence and tallness)). From my side, I want to congratulate all the believers ((as stated addressed to all the believers)). We all should ((must)) stay with truth and righteousness ((Afzal Guru stressed that all should ((must)) stay with truth and righteousness as the truth and righteousness, the cause was recognized by him to gain this stature)), and our end must also come on the path of truth and righteousness ((suggesting that our (the people of his stature) must end their life, following on the path of truth and righteousness like him)).

My request to my family is that instead of grieving over my end, they should respect ((admiration and have a high opinion of the height, prominence and tallness of this stature)) the stature I ((Afzal Guru)) have achieved.

Almighty God is your greatest protector and greatest help. ((through whom, the greatest protector and greatest help, all those asked that they should ((must)) stay with truth and righteousness as the truth and righteousness cause was recognized to choose death for the cause by him to gain this stature))

I leave you in Allah’s protection.” ((Again Afzal Guru is reminding his family, all those will protect you, who are asked that they should ((must)) stay with truth and righteousness as the truth and righteousness cause was recognized by him to choose death for the cause to gain this stature ))

Note: (The double bracketed interpretation is of writer and which is subject matter of verification and correction in view of the original letter of Afzal Guru, ‘The Shaheed-e-Watan’ in Urdu),
Below are the letter, its rough translation and the accompanying note written by the Tihar Jail Superintendent?

“6:25 am
9/2/2013
Respected family and all the believers.
Asalam u alikum (peace up on you)
I thank almighty that he has chosen me for this stature. From my side, I want to congratulate all the believers. We all should stay with truth and righteousness, and our end must also come on the path of truth and righteousness. My request to my family is that instead of grieving over my end, they should respect the stature I have achieved.

Almighty God is your greatest protector and greatest help.
I leave you in Allah’s protection.

In addition to this:

“THE CONVICTION IS the discretion of a judge and a president (a government) in India:  Nothing is to hide or lie about this reality in India especially in face of and when the world looks like a Village because of internet communicating skill and facilities etc, though still that not available with the larger part of population.  Moreover, presently to raise the question of violation of human rights anytime and anywhere has become necessity individually and or collectively in the world.

For Example: Whereas the death sentence of the main accused former B.J.P. minister Maya Kodnani (murderer of 97 Muslims) converted to life where the Judge said that “The Judge could not overlook the fact that 139 countries have repealed the death sentence, this court believes the use of death undermines human dignity.”

VERSUS But a Muslim, Mohammad Afzal Guru convicted and executed to death on questionable (dubious, doubtful, uncertain, open to discussion-moot, disputed, debatable) evidence, where Judge observed that participation of accused had “shaken the entire nation and the collective conscience of the society will be satisfied if capital punishment is awarded to the offender.” Extract from: an article, ‘Is collective conscience of Indians uniting to pardon Sanjay Dut’ written by the author?

The Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley made   hard hitting remarks, ‘India is being kicked around internationally’ may not be said so lightly and without political reason.

Though, Mr.Arun Jaitley must have done so on foreign policy of India to let down the government of United Parties Alliance (UPA) keeping in mind to take the advantage of the coming Lok Sabha elections-2014 without noticing its demerits internationally for India.
…….
……..
But, Mr. Arun Jaitley may be correct only in the context that India has no friendly relations with any of its neighbours and could not become a big brother or boss in Indian sub-continent and instead, he is admitting rather confessing that India is being ‘Kicked Around’ internationally and there is being something seriously wrong with the manner in which external affairs is run.

What to talk of normalising ties with neighbours, on the front of internal affairs, India is also being mismanaged and the Indian minorities are feeling discriminated in India and openly known to all! Mr. Arun Jaitley understands very well the reasons and background to this hatred.   Though, nothing is desirable to do so secretively in a democratic country as was done in case of Mohammad Afzal Guru’s execution. The government seems not only to have been failed to achieve its political end, but also exposed and defamed by this nefarious act. The cool minded matured persons sitting in the Indian establishment realized that to hang Afzal Guru in the manner for the ulterior motive was a blunder.

The blunder was committed on provocation of main opposition party and to supersede the party in opposition to have political mileage in the coming Lok Sabha elections 2014. The peaceful process between the countries and the balance of Machiavelli’s political necessity for the rulers of both the countries including Kashmir disturbed. In fact, the political immaturity of India stands exposed.

Whenever, the present main opposition party comes to power behaves more weakly and softly in the field of foreign diplomacy as was experienced in the past during its tenure and examples were quoted to that effect during the debate-discussion.

The equilibrium of democratic civil society of Pakistan (democratic set up of Pakistan) was totally imbalanced by the Indian political blunder, “Afzal Guru was given the death sentence on the basis that “the incident, which resulted in heavy casualties, had shaken the entire nation, and the collective conscience of the society will only be satisfied if capital punishment is awarded to the offender” and further to satisfy the same, he was hanged hurriedly and secretively. Extract from: an article, ‘Why Is India Being ‘Kicked Around’ Internationally?” written by the author?

 Now on 19 April 2014:
“The persons like Giriraj Singh terrorizing the opponents especially Muslims at the instance of the hard Hindutva (BJP) & soft Hindutva (Congress) communal forces.

The persons like Giriraj Singh were and are only terrorizing the opponents especially Muslims by such statements and criminal actions at the instance of the hard Hindutva (BJP) & soft Hindutva (Congress) communal forces.

Lok Sabha polls: Those opposing Narendra Modi will have to go to Pakistan, says Giriraj Singh, who is considered close to Narendra Modi, at whose instance, Giriraj Singh terrorizing the Indians opposing Narendra Modi (a symbol of hard Hindutva  (BJP) & soft Hindutva (Congress) communal forces) especially Muslims in India?

Obviously, the persons like Giriraj Singh were and are only terrorizing the opponents especially Muslims by such statements and criminal actions at the instance of the hard Hindutva (BJP) & soft Hindutva (Congress) communal forces in order to attract the majority communal vote bank.

Giriraj Singh's utterances (the utterances are very serious and actionable adequately, meaningfully and effectively) have rightly been taken as controversial as reported by the Election Commission (EC) of India, which must take suo motu action against him."

PRAYER: IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE, THE ELECTION COMMISSION (EC) OF INDIA MUST TAKE SUO MOTU ACTION IN THE CRIMINAL ACT OF THE HARD HINDUTVA (BJP) & SOFT HINDUTVA (CONGRESS).

THE “HINDU” IS HIDDEN IN HIM, WHO IS NOT ALLOWING HIM TO WRITE OR SPEAK THE TRUTH

THE “HINDU” IS HIDDEN IN HIM,
WHO IS NOT ALLOWING HIM TO
WRITE OR SPEAK THE TRUTH

--By Balbir Singh Sooch

WHAT TO TALK OF PRESENT HINDUS, THEY ARE APPEARING ON THE TV CHANNELS TO LIE AND SHAMELESSLY TO HIDE THE TRUTH?

No mass Carnage of Hindus after murder of Mohandas Karam Chand Mahatma Gandhi, ji, No mass Carnage of Tamils & Hindus after murder of Rajiv Gandhi ji, as to why attack on Sri Akal Takhat and Durbar Sahib and on other Gurdwara’s in Punjab and the Sikhs carnage of Sikhs in Delhi and elsewhere on the order of and after the murder of Indra Gandhi respectively?

The provocation of open and grab injustice of the Sikhs carnage of Sikhs in Delhi and elsewhere in India after Indra Gandhi’s murder, are not sufficient to commute the death sentence of Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, Professor Devinder pal Singh Bhullar the punishment of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara and other Sikhs and similarly such others languishing in Indian Jails?

The communal operative in any form including in media in India have no answer to above and their tongue starts vibrating on such questions as daily witnessed in the Indian media and in public talk openly.

There is no answer from communal as to how Afzal Guru and others are hanged without following the rule of law in India as being advocated falsely in case of the Sikhs like Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana and Professor Devinder pal Singh Bhullar etc, means other Indians?

The Sikh Vichar Manch do possess a material of unprinted book, where the Hindu writer of the book has written that a “Hindu” is hidden in him, who is not allowing me to write the truth about the attack on Sri Akal Takhat and Durbar Sahib and on other Gurdwara’s in Punjab. I worship such Hindus, who could write or speak rarely like this before only their death in India.

What to talk of present Hindus, appearing on the mainstream TV Channels shamelessly to lie and daringly to hide the truth?

Now, where am I? Sikh Vichar Manch Stands!

The Aam Aadmi Party is to change the corrupt system, now be with ‘Aam Aadmi PARTY’. Vote for Aam Aadmi Party! The Aam Aadmi Party is to change the corrupt system peacefully and that’s way, to first disturb the corrupt nexus of politics in India.

For the reforms and to change the corrupt system peacefully: Aam Aadmi Party may prove an experimental and a practical option for people of India and is expected to get sufficient percentage of votes in Lok Sabha elections-2014 to disturb the corrupt nexus of politics in India. The corrupt started already feeling disturbed in the Indian corrupt system from the Aam Aadmi Party.

Be cautious from ‘The Competitive Communalism in India!’ That’s our prayer for the betterment and success of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Vote for Aam Aadmi Party! Vote for Aam Aadmi Party! That should the slogan now.

Indians Vote Like CATTLE: Accept Justice Markandey Katju’s just challenge and now be with ‘Aam Aadmi PARTY’.

The Crux of the problem highlighted by former Justice Markandey Katju or Indians must prove him wrong. See as to how now prove him wrong? Thank him for taking notice of Aam Aadmi Party at this juncture and the way he highlighted the problem and at same time thrown a just challenge before the people of India.

Instead of criticizing and abusing former Supreme Court justice and press council chairman Markandey Katju, people of India must accept his challenge, “India is not a full-fledged democracy as 90 per cent of its people vote like sheep and cattle, Press Council of India chairman Justice Markandey Katju said in New Delhi on Saturday. Speaking to a news channel, Katju said, "Ninety per cent Indians vote in droves like sheep and cattle. They are like a herd of cattle voting along caste and religious lines. Because Indians vote like livestock, there are so many criminals in Parliament."
Accept Justice Markandey Katju’s challenge and prove him wrong in the context: that now people of India have changed themselves. That how to prove that people of India have changed now?

Do not watch carelessly and allow your Aam Aadmi leaders dying fasting. Do Indians require now awareness about the corruption and the injustice All over in India?

Are Indians in any doubt about the corrupt nexus and the corrupt system? Were Indian Voters not in search of alternative option to vote in elections? Disturb the corrupt nexus and the corrupt system of centralization of politics in India. Now, alternative is insight for Voters i.e. Aam Aadmi Party! Vote for Aam Aadmi Party! Vote for Aam Aadmi Party! That should be the action and the slogan now. These are the important submissions before all Indians.

The Social activist Anna Hazare and the former army Chief General V.K. Singh etc are also humbly requested to cooperate more with ‘The Team Aam Aadmi Party’. Please immediately accept the proposal and submission to be now with ‘Aam Aadmi PARTY’.

"India first" Modi Always to raise anti-minority, especially anti-Muslim slogans

"India first" Modi Always to raise anti-minority, especially anti-Muslim slogans

"India first" Modi Always to raise anti-minority, especially anti-Muslim slogans

The so-called “KINGMAKERS” (regional parties) are always insulted and controlled by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Intelligence Bureau (IB), other forces and agencies in India.

"India first"…as Modi has … always contributed to spreading hatred, discord and hostility between communities... their... theme for political activities mainly revolve around communal polarisation for garnering votes. …… and to raise anti-minority, especially anti-Muslim slogans has been their favourite pastime as rightly reported.

Mulayam may join regional parties, form Third Front: Sources. The regional parties are toothless politically and being misused to cover up the excesses against the minorities since long in India.

‘Third Front’ must become reality, otherwise, the selfish nature of bargaining of political conduct of the regional parties, “let us talk out, let us walk out, let us bail out and or be silent now, thereafter, be violent now” as the conduct of regional parties were defined by former president of BJP, M. Venkaiah Naidu when they are rarely in action politically at the cost of common man and their that definition shall prove true and correct as a practical joke applicable to them (the regional parties) forever.

In fact, it is an open secret that the regional parties in action politically also remain and kept under the very close to the nose of CBI, IB etc… to keep them dummy always in India. List of examples is endless and continuing so and the latest search was of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader’s house after DMK chief M Karunanidhi has announced his party's decision to part ways with the Congress-led coalition at the Centre.

The Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati are facing cases of disproportionate assets which were investigated by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati did always slam the government over Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), claiming that she too has been a victim of "misuse" of CBI by both Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress to further their political interests.

Hence, the regional parties are toothless politically to safeguard the lives of the minorities, communities etc, but the regional parties were/are being misused to cover up the excesses meted out to the minorities especially e.g. to Sikhs and Muslims as happened in 1984 and 2002 in India respectively. The end of atrocities is not insight against the Indian minorities as now in Kashmir, and recently also, United Nations (UN) have taken notice of it.

To what an extent and as to how long, the leaders of regional parties to remain impelled to bear the insult? Only time may answer.

Now, alternative seems to be insight to disturb the corrupt nexus and the corrupt system of centralization of politics in India i.e. Aam Aadmi Party.

Why can’t ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ (AAP) prove better than any ‘Third Front’, provided that remains unbiased?

Rather, the Aam Aadmi Party is one step closer to the dream of ‘Swaraj’. “The dream of Swaraj is of delivering governance right into the hands of the people....... that’s in the true sense of decentralization in all respects of India.”

The Aam Aadmi Party an experimental and a practical option to vote for people of India. For the reforms in India: Call upon to Am Aadmi to vote for Aam Aadmi Party. And, The Aam Aadmi Party is to change the corrupt system peacefully and that’s way, first disturb the corrupt nexus of politics in India as said.

CM Narendra Modi was a main actor in the carnage eight years back

AS A politician, Gujarat State Chief Minister Narendra Modi may be looking bold after facing the Special Investigation Team (SIT), but factually, he can’t be so, provided questioned seriously for more than nine hours. Whether the method of questioning to CM Narendra Modi was same as could be adopted for a person holding position like him?
To my mind, by way of questioning or cross-examination of the accused regarding his all movements during the period, background, ideology etc then cross checking his statement with the statements of his other accomplices to find out omissions and commissions and again repeating the process, to bring the truth on surface, is not difficult. Though the process is very time consuming and lengthy and can not be a success without impartial action and expertise knowledge.
CM Narendra Modi was a main actor in the carnage eight years back.
Questioning him on the above lines i.e. ‘by way of questioning or cross-examination of the accused regarding his all movements during the period, background, ideology etc then cross checking his statement with the statements of his other accomplices to find out omissions and commissions and again repeating the process, to bring the truth on surface, is not difficult’.
In fact, nine hours period for questioning to Modi by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was very less and nothing for the purpose in this case.
As a lawyer, I am always of the opinion that certainly truth could be brought out on surface without any bodily torture. I also realized many a times as to how I might have tortured mentally by way of questioning or cross-examination in the court to the persons who complained me without any grudge considering that was my professional duty in order to bring truth on surface for justice for my client.
SIT Chief R.K. Raghavan was also not present in his office when Mr. Modi appeared. The media, who earlier started raising hue and cry regarding the delay and the injustice in similar cases in the country and openly said the process adopted for summoning Modi for investigation by SIT is only eyewash, was also moderate later on or was asked to keep quite, when Modi was back at SIT office for further questioning i.e. for remaining part of the drama.
A congress leader as spokesman heard saying, “We are not interested in the out-come of the investigation, but legal process be completed and words to that effect.” The protest on the part of BJP for questioning CM Modi in the manner by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was also negligible and that all was clearly indicating that both parties (BJP & Congress) are hands in glove, not only in this case, otherwise also, they are one and the same thing, and the minorities were being befooled in India, leaving them at the mercy of God.
Now, if someone concludes that Chief Minister Narendra Modi was bold being clean or not guilty must be taken wrongly and suspiciously and the entire process being followed as a part of high level enacted and stage managed big drama in this case as eyewash.
After watching the news for about one and half hour, the picture was clear about the drama, and I sent an email on March 27, 2010 2:06 PM (IST), “Was the questioning by the Supreme court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) to CM Modi now after eight years only in connection with a complaint of Zakia Jaffery, widow of former Congress MP Eshan Jaffery, who was killed in Gulbarg society massacre (riots) case of 2002 that he (then also CM Modi) had instructed officers not to take action, to be considered an eyewash as reports are pouring in so far?”
Chief Minister Narendra Modi and the Supreme court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) ???
SIT Chief Parries Questions on Narendra Modi's Claim:
Was there any patch up about fixing next date of hearing, replacing the summons with a letter asking Narendra Modi to appear on March 27, 2010 when he, intentionally and deliberately, failed to appear on March 21, 2010 before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as it appears?
If answer is yes, then who were the parties to the patch up business and for getting issued the letter for a fresh date i.e. March 27, 2010 for the presence of Modi for questioning him?
Did the influence and pressure apply only for seeking adjournment to the next date and changing summons into letter or and the influence and pressure as a business also worked beyond it?
Whether after questioning Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi for more than nine hours in two sessions, the entire case also likely to remain unactioned without going into its history?
No-doubt, whatever the Supreme Court says is law.
Is the prosecution story always not based on the investigation conducted by the investigating officer (I.O.) and even the Supreme Court can not make any additions of its own in the story while deciding the case under the law?
Whether the questionnaire was prepared by the SIT or by the Supreme court in this case?
Obviously, it may be the task of the SIT only.
Can all these queries not to be answered openly and be made part of the investigation being conducted by SIT in this case?
Investigating Modi is merely an eyewash

Khushwant Singh About Modi
Saturday, April 3, 2010
“Then we had pogroms of Muslims in Gujarat, following the burning of a rail coach along with passengers at the Godhra railway station in 2002. Over 2,000 innocent Muslims, including a former MP, were killed.
There is plenty of recorded evidence made through a sting operation by Tehalka that Modi himself gave the green signal to vandals to do what they liked to Muslims for three days, and teach them a lesson without bothering about the police. Goondas took the law into their own hands and went on a killing spree.
No action was taken against Modi, who had a stout protector in LK Advani because Advani depended on Modi to return him to Parliament.
Instead, Modi was praised for his good administration and as a promoter of industry. Ratan Tata shifted his Nano-manufacturing plant from West Bengal to Gujarat. Other industrialists lauded him for containing trade unions.”
