Senior Hurriyat member and chairman Islamic political party (JK) Mr.Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a condolence meeting of the party expressed grief on the demise of Mr.Abdul Aziz Lone, father of the party representative for Azad Kashmir Mr.Abdul Hameed Lone and said that deceased had played a vital role in the freedom movement and was among the pro freedom companions of Mirwaiz Kashmir Moulvi Mohammad Yousuf Shah (R.A).  Deceased was also the leading figure of Mahaz-e-Raishumari and remained in incarceration for seven years in this regard. Mr.Naqash while paying glowing tributes to the deceased said that he played a principled and sincere role in the freedom movement and denied to deviate from it for personal benefits. Deceased is counted among such pro freedom personalities of Kashmir who tooth and nail opposed the Indra Abdullah accord and suffered very much for this open opposition. He was closely associated with founding father of Islamic Republic of Pakistan late Qaid-e -Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah (R.A). Party expressed solidarity with Mr.Abdul Hameed Lone and other members of bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
