It was presumed that terrorist groups in Afghanistan in collaboration with the Afghanistan government contrived the attacks of September 11^th, 2001 taking place in the United States. As a result, more than three thousand innocent lives were lost. This was the claim that the United States perpetuated which until today cannot be assured.

The United States further proposed the idea that human beings of any faith cannot and should not support the heinous crimes against humanity taking place on the aforementioned date. The loss of thousands of lives in the United States which were mainly civilian in nature is a congruent loss for all of humanity. As a result of the attacks, the United States promptly persuaded NATO and the UN including the Security Council to approve the invasion of Afghanistan. The war continues today eleven years later in order to retaliate and ensure that such actions will not occur once again.

Nevertheless, embedded deep within the constructs that were and are still being witnessed in Afghanistan today is a deeply rooted hypocrisy. Under the basis of democracy and freedom, the United States and the international community intervened in Afghanistan.  Whereas, they have turned a blind eye to the massive human rights violations of India a country in the same continent. For over six decades, India has forcefully enslaved more the eight million innocent Kashmiris and occupied 42,000 square miles of the state of Jammu and Kashmir also known as the Internationally Disputed Area of Jammu and Kashmir (IDA:JK). It has killed more than 200,000 Kashmiris along with committing grave and widespread human rights violations such as; raping, maiming, and forced disappearances. The legal system in the supposed “largest democracy” in the world, India is highly politicized and a fundamental tool used in order to suppress any dissent against the occupation.

Innocent killings anywhere in the world including the IDA: JK are the moral responsibilities of not only the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (which also bears religious responsibility) who the people were to originally and should now accede to, but also the international community at large which must use whatever means it has at its disposal in order to prevent these atrocities. Based on the analogy of the United States, Pakistan must aggressively pursue this matter within the international community in general and specifically within the United Nations and NATO. This is to assert that Pakistan must convince these international institutions in the same fashion as the United States pursued the invasion of Afghanistan in order to free the people of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian occupation. Given the grave atrocities for over six decades committed in IDA: JK as stated below by the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Srinagar, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, the Pakistani state and the international community at large must not remain idle. Sitting idle will further highlight the rampant hypocrisy already being widely witnessed within the international system, epitomized by the case of IDA: JK.

While addressing the party activists from Ganderbal senior Hurriyat member and Chairman Islamic Political Party (JK) Mr.Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has said that Kashmir being under the colonial rule, its people have every justification and right under International Laws to struggle for freedom from this forced and illegal occupation and brutal oppression. The arrestees in this regard are political prisoners not the criminals. So they need to be treated as per International Laws. But unfortunately in Indian occupied Kashmir Indian Government in utter violation of International Laws has invoked its own repressive and Draconian Black Laws to not only prolong the detention of Kashmiri political prisoners  but to award them life term and death sentences. Indian government has also given its forces freehand for perpetrating state terrorism in Kashmir by using armed forces special powers act as a license in this regard to curb and crush the ongoing freedom movement. Though it is encouraging that world community in general and United  Nations Organization, European Union O.I.C and International Human Rights Organizations in particular are raising the voices in support of the rights of Kashmiri people including right to Self Determination and deploring Indian Government for curbing their rights and perpetrating Human Rights violation but these paper protests will not help in forcing Indian Government for immediate halt on State Terrorism and emancipation of Kashmir from its forced colonial rule unless pressure is exerted on India through economic sanctions and military intervention under U.N direction, command and supervision as United Nations Organization has the mandate and authority to take such harsh steps against oppressive colonial rulers in the interest of solving disputes and maintaining peace. Mr.Naqash strongly condemned yet another cruel tactics of judicial torture of awarding death and life sentences to the Kashmiri political prisoners by Indian Government and also deplored the tactics of prolonging detentions of Kashmiri political prisoners by invoking Draconian Law, Public Safety Act and said that these cruel tactics of India will never help it to suppress and break the resolve of Kashmiri people for freedom.
