MUSLIMS CANNOT CELEBRATE COMPULSORY HOLIDAY!
EID-UL-AZHA FESTIVAL BANNED IN RAJISTHAN, INDIA:

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

In a major development today, the High Court of India ordered beef ban and Rajasthan government decided that there will be no holiday on the eve of Eidul Azha. For a state which claims to be secular, why are Muslims being targeted in India, and if India is really secular, than why is Hinduism the driving influence behind this recent development? Similarly, on the eve of Jain festival, Bombay Municipal Corporation banned slaughtering of animals. This brings serious questions to the fore as to why anti-Islamic rulings are being passed through Hindu influence, all in the name of secularism.

What is the next step that the high court will take to hinder religious freedoms? Will the sacrifice (Qurbani of animals), one of the important Sunnahs or ways of our beloved Prophet Abraham (as) be banned as well? Shall we remain mute spectators?

The Sikh nation is also worried about the decision. The Sikh scholars maintain that Tenth Master Guru Gobind Singh Sahib (Tenth Guru of Sikhs) was fond of hunting and used to enjoy roast meat. The Sikh Homeland Punjab Khalistan belongs to Sikhs and they do not want to India put a ban on use of meat in their state too. In the words of Alama Iqbal: "Mulla ko jo hai hind mai sajda ki izazat, Nadan samjta hai Islam hai azad."
