INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY JANUARY 26 REGARDED AS BLACKDAY
AMONG KASHMIRIS: CHAIRMAN ISLAMIC POLITICAL PARTY (JK)
MR. MOHAMMAD YOUSUF NAQASH

PRESS RELEASE

January 18, 2013
Senior Hurriyat member and Chairman Islamic Political Party (JK) Mr.Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has stressed Kashmiri people to speed up diplomatic efforts for International intervention and mediation to counter obdurate, unrealistic and unprincipled Kashmir policy of Indian government with the sole aim of securing the birth right, Right to Self -Determination and Kashmiri people should hail and support the sincere efforts of Pakistan in this regard. Mr. Naqash further said that International intervention and mediation in respect of just, honorable and permanent solution of Kashmir dispute is inevitable given the international standing of the Kashmir dispute. Mr.Naqash asked Kashmiris to observe 26 January Indian Republic Day as Black Day and protest against India on this day because Kashmir is not the part of India. Indian government has forcibly subjugated Kashmir and is perpetrating brutal oppression to continue with this forced occupation. So it is the duty of every Kashmiri to protest against India on this day. Mr. Naqash while remembering the brutal massacre of Gaw Kadal at the hands of Indian Forces strongly condemned it. He  paid glowing tributes to Gaw Kadal and all other martyrs of Kashmir and said that if we really mean to glorify the supreme sacrifices of our martyrs we should resolve to continue the ongoing movement  till it reaches its logical conclusion and do not allow these sacrifices  go waste.
