Jan. 6th was Shaheedi Din of Bhai Satwant Singh and Bhai Kehar Singh. As usual the family relatives of the Shaheeds were honoured by Akal Takhat Jathedar. But the Indian Media reacted and made headlines of this thing in very negative way. I don't know why the Media and some people are quick to criticise and oppose the honouring of great Shaheeds Beant Singh and Satwant Singh who gave up their lives to punish a bad ruler Indira Gandhi who had misused her powers to attack the Golden Temple and kill thousands of innocent worshippers in there.  Has this Media ever questioned when Indira Gandhi is honoured and memorials being set up in her name ? Or the Media is always going to be scared of the ruling Gandhi family and Congress Govt. to accuse Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi of killing thousands of innocent persons in Blue Star Operation and 1984 Sikh Genocide ?

One thing the Media and public, knowingly or unknowingly keep ignoring is that according to Lt. Gen. Sinha Indira Gandhi had started planning to attack the Golden Temple 18 months earlier when terrorism was not a big problem in Punjab and Sant Bhindrawale and associates not even in the Golden Temple. Does any PM ever plan to attack a religious place without any reason ? Indira Gandhi had started planning to attack the Golden Temple for two reasons. First she wanted to teach Sikhs a lesson and get revenge for opposing her Emergency rule. Secondly she knew that to win next elections she had to take such a big step to project Sikhs as anti-national terrorists to win the large Hindu majority votes. That is why she started making these plans to attack the Golden Temple and ordered army to start training and planning for this attack. Lt. Gen. Sinha was supposed to be the next army Chief, but because he opposed Indira Gandhi's plans to attack a religious place, Indira Gandhi decided to bypass him and promoted a junior Vaidya as army Chief because he agreed to attack the Golden Temple.  Media should also remember couple of years ago Indian Govt. wanted army to attack and control the Maoist/Naxalite movement, But army Gen. VK Singh right away refused and said," Army will not and should not be used to fight against their own countrymen." The present Govt. kept quite and never again talked to use army. But Indira Gandhi didn't care of such principles and was determined to use the army to attack the Golden Temple and bypassed Sinha and appointed Vaidya as army Chief who had agreed to attack the Golden Temple.

All this happened when terrorism was not that big problem in Punjab that it required army action to attack the Golden Temple. But later on Indira Gandhi knowingly let things get worse in Punjab to justify her plans to attack the Golden Temple. She even used Black Cat agents to act as Sikh terrorists and kill innocent persons mostly Hindus so that Media, Politicians and general public will start demanding such an army action. At the same time to make fool of Media and opposition leaders she pretended as if she doesn't want to  use the army, something she had alreaddy planned long time ago. All this she had planned to be projected as a Devi by the media to get the Hindu majority votes in the coming elections. So she was a bad ruler who had misused her powers for her political benefit and killed thousands of innocent persons and destruction of Holy Golden Temple complex.

Another thing people and Media keep forgetting is that in Indian history bad rulers who had misused their powers been killed. In Hindu mythology there are many Devi/Devtas who are worshipped because they had killed bad rulers who misused their powers and killed innocent people. It is unfortunate that history keeps repeating itself and we are still getting bad rulers who misused their powers and killed innocent persons. And in present times the bad rulers were Indira Gandhi, Rajeev Gandhi and Beant Singh (Punjab CM) who had misused their powers to kill thousands of innocent persons and were punished by present day Devi/Devtas (in Punjab and Tamil Nadu). Rather than criticising the Shaheeds, the present day politicians should learn from the mistakes of such bad rulers and never misuse their powers to kill innocent citizens of the country for their political benefits.
