I
have attached some photographs and documents on the need, development and
completion of the NANAKSHAHI CALENDAR 2003 till final approval by SGPC and its
Jathedars by the Vaisakhi of 2003. The whole arduous process,in which thousands
of Sikhs and Sikh Organization participated, took long fifteen years (From 1989
to Vaisakhi 2003).
The
Nanakshahi Calender-2003 was purely based on Gurbani and Gurbani principles,
and just 2-3 dates about which there were difference were kept out for later
consideration and approval. All other differences of opinions were
professionally responded to by the committee members, with the exception of
handful of individuals who were feeding their ego and bent upon pushing their
own version of Calendars for the Sikh Nation. These were the types that would
say "Main Na Manoo, Main Na Manoo..." The Nanakshahi Calendar was
accepted by both the Punjab and central governments including the Sikh World
all over the Globe.The Sikh Nanakshahi Calender that was proudly accepted and
declared for adoption by the Sikh World was in force from 2003 until the end of
2009 ( Almost 7 years) without any hitch. The very process of standardizing and
synchronizing Sikh Calendar named Nanakshahi was to spread the message of
Gurbani in an an efficient manner to the non-Sikh population in these
countries. However, with the acrobatic jumps by the SGPC and their Jathedars
the game of SEVA is severely damaged.
In
2010, for political convenience and external pressures The Sikh Calendar was
suddenly and fraudulently changed by ( vtar Singh Makkar And Giani Gurbachan
Singh in collaboration with shri.Harnam Singh Dhuma ji and so called sant
samaj)
They
Cheated the Sikh Nation by adopting Old Bikrami Calendar but keeping the name "Nanakshahi".
In reality "Nanakshahi became "Dhumakarrshahi"
One
May ask, IF any one put a LION'S (Tiger's) HIDE OVER A JACKAL
(Coyote) , will the Coyote becomes a Lion????? For Which The Answer is "NOPE"
sir.
I
would hesitate to say it ,but clearly this act of Betrayal of Sikh Nation can
be described as equivalent to " THUK KAI CHATNA" (Licking
The Spit) on the part of people occupying high seats at Darbar Sahib. We did
not forget the installation of Statues of Hindu Devtas at in the Parkamia of
Darbar Sahib at one time.The recent decisions about Sirsa Pakhandi was the
worst kind. For Sikhs the Institution of Akal Takhat Sahib is Supreme ,but if
the Decision makers make their decisions on the basis of Superfluous expediency
(faaltu kahllee) Ignoring Gurbani ,then those decisions can not be accepted by
the Khalsa at any cost.Furthermore no one should interpret Gurbani with his own
MANMAT. Gurbani has to be interpreted on the basis of Gurbani alone.
The
True Nanakshahi Calendar can not be put into Bikrami Calendar ! In the world
there are Julian , Coptic , Ethiopian, and Gregorian Calendars. Then there are
Chinese, Hebrew, Islamic, several versions of Hindu Calendars (India, Bengali,
Thai, Baha'i etc There is Solar Hijri,and many other types of calendars.
However, A stable and most Common - THE COMMON ERA (CE) Calendar is accepted
worldwide. The Nanakshahi Calendar 2003 that was based of Gurbani of Guru
Granth Sahib ji and SYNCHRONIZED with the Common Era Calendar that not only
takes Leap Years but also LEAP SECONDS into consideration to keep the accuracy
and stability of dates and seasons around the world.
With
the Current TURMOIL in the Land of our Beloved Guru Sahib Ji The Shameless ones
are sticking to their seats of authority until they are dead. " MAKHEE
MITHAI MARNA..." Daily they recite "Ardaas" requesting "
Guru Sahib Ji ," to give them the opportunity to take care of Gurdwaras in
Pakistan ( Sewa Sambhal Da Daan Bakhsho ji ), However, they can not do Seva
Sanbhal in our own Punjab as has been observed in past months. To resolve the
matters at hand all the decisions taken by SGPC and Jathedars after June 2003
up to now must be withdrawn and calcelled. A panal of at least 101 Gursikhs
must visit those decision to give fresh directions based solely on Gurbani
teachings.Otherwise there does not appear to be any hope ! Sikhs have
COMPLETELY LOST TRUST in the current process being followed by SGPC and
its Jathedars
Any
person with a sense of responsibility if caught in these circumstances would
just resign from the position just to save the Sikh Nation from any further
embarrassments. Looking at the war of words played by SGPC Chief and his
Jathedars it does not appear possible. Only Waheguru will help us. We all have
to decide whether we follow Gurbani Teachings or we get lost in Hindu REETS (
karm kaands ).Its with extreme pain that I have to state the facts as they are
and also name the names to avoid any ambiguity in understanding the Truth.
