Sedition and democracy, state and sikh religious institutions management

Sedition and democracy, state and
sikh religious institutions management

"Challenge of state to wounded Sikh psyche again after 31 years " Sarbat Khalsa gathering of hundreds of thousands of Sikhs without any specific leadership was the show of Sikh anger or dissatisfaction towards the way Sikh issues being treated in state set up . Arousing response of Sikh Sangat in Sarbat Khalsa towards the Gurmatas was representing the Sikh psyche towards Sikh related issues . In a democratic set up , states respond to citizens choices but brutal regimes prefer their personnel interests over citizens choices. Response of state towards the citizens's choices of Sarbat Khalsa show it's real face of brutal regime rather than democratic state. Dictators normally dub opposition views as sedition . This is what state has done with Sikh leaders after Sarbat Khalsa . They been arrested under sedition charges Even global Sikh diaspora leaders which went to Sarbat Khalsa as part of Sikh Panth and that too specifically in regard to misuse of Sikh institutions which belong to entire Sikh nation , not only to the Sikhs living in Punjab ,they been charged with sedition , do not make any sense when India is not their primary country but Sikh institutions situated in India are their institutions also as Sikhs . So how come state is responding with anti state charges entirely on basis of Sikhs's internal faith issues. It is internal matter of Sikhs living in India or abroad . What Indian state sedition has to do with it . It is totally act of challenge of Indian state to Sikhs regarding the sovereignty of Sikh institutions .
